BRITTNEY + TANNER | QUIXOTIC WORLD IN DEEP ELLUM

Yay!! It's #MARRIEDFACEMONDAY!

Our favorite weddings here at Celebrate Dallas are the ones that showcase the true spirit of a couple. Brittney + Tanner took that idea and ran wild. Their Halloween inspired bash is the epitome of an authentic wedding. From the Rabbit Hole aesthetic of Quixotic World to the black wedding dress worn by the bride, we loved everything about this magical night.

We adore Brittney's black wedding gown complete with a gold skeleton cuff and Tanner's steampunk dragon tamer ensemble. These two made quite a pair and one spectacular entrance into their wedding.

TRENDS | WEDDING CAKE ALTERNATIVES

It's the sweetest part of a wedding, after the "I Do's", we're of course talking about the desserts. Most couples head the traditional route, ordering and designing a gorgeous cake that fits the wedding's theme.

However, some brides are more adventurous and order specialty cakes in exciting or festive shapes.

And then there are brides who hate cake but, love sweets. And this is a post for designed for you! -- But, it's also for anyone who's willing to break tradition while still keeping it sweet.

CAKE POPS
They are the closest thing to cake, including the texture and taste. Cake pops also have all the style and grace without the size of a cake.

pro tip: encourage your baker to use details from your wedding. Include your color scheme or even the details of your wedding gown!

CUPCAKES
Consider these guys the older, cooler, sibling to the cake pop. They're more mature, more filling, and have so much more potential.

ICE CREAM
This dessert will require some logistical creativity on behalf of your caterer but, how cool would this treat be? Ice Cream Sundae Bar, anyone?

ICE CREAM | COWBUNGA ICE CREAM

ICE CREAM | COWBUNGA ICE CREAM

pro tip: serve this guy just as the party is heating up! Want to really surprise your guests? Consider hiring an ice cream truck.

GO FRENCH: MACARONS + CROQUEMBOUCHE
Go cultural and break the mold by combining these two French classics and designing an entire desserts table around the concept.

DONUTS
Do we really need to explain the joys of a donut tower?...didn't think so.

#EVERYTHINGPLEASE

Can't make up your mind? Do it all! It's your big day after all, try a dessert samplings table to keep even your pickiest of guests satisfied.

The key here is to do what makes you (and your belly) happy. One day of cravings won't hurt you too much and the possibilities are endless. If you're still undecided on what to do for your wedding dessert talk with your baker/cater or head over to one of our MOST LOVED bakers Whisk Until Sweet for even more sweet inspiration. Happy eatings!

AUTUMNAL BOHEMIAN STYLED EDITORIAL

FEATURED ON THE PERFECT PALETTE

Happy Monday, y'all! Today we are so excited to finally share our Autumnal Bohemian Editorial!

This past fall, we ventured out into Oak Cliff to find the perfect tree-filled grove and setup a dreamy scene for the bohemian bride in all of us.

We chose super saturated tones like emerald, navy, and amber and accented with matte black and brass. We tied in lots of mixed textures and patterns with vintage rugs, an amazing low table from Beautiful Event Rentals, and vintage glassware.

We were so excited to bring in as much texture as we could with the flowers! Both the garland runner and the bride's bouquet are full of blooms in shades of amber, berries, and fall foliage!

Our model, Taylor, is actually a former bride of ours! (See her wedding here!) Her company, Gypset Creative, also designed the full paper suite that we died over!

Hello Flawless rocked the beauty business with this messy, relaxed up-do and a smokey amber eye. Paired with this stunning gown from Lovely Bride and emerald jewels from our favorite Shapiro Diamonds, and this bride was ready for a wedding night under the stars!

And, of course, we couldn't have done it without our amazing photographer, Chelsea Q. White, who captured everything so beautifully. There's just something about her film images that make us all misty eyed!

Be sure to scroll through the full gallery and see the full vendor team below. And thank you to the Perfect Palette for featuring our collaboration!

THE SWOON EVENT | JEFFERSON TOWER EVENTS

Happy Wednesday peeps! Apparently it's recap week on the blog, so today we're sharing a few snaps of our bouquet bar at The Swoon Event in Dallas last month! For those of you who missed it, The Swoon Event is "a curated wedding market and social for and by creatives." We adore meeting new faces and while the Dallas Bridal Show may not be our scene, we feel right at home at The Swoon - a smaller, more intimate affair.

This years market was hosted at Jefferson Tower Events in Oak Cliff. We love when we get to keep it local! Catch us again next year when The Swoon makes it's annual stop in Dallas!

BIG THANKS TO BECKLEY & CO. FOR THE BEAUTIFUL GALLERY!

VALENTINE'S DAY MARKET | THE COTERIE

Our little studio, The Coterie, has had quite a busy month this February! We added several new members (official announcements coming soon!) and we collaborated with Little D Markets to host a super fun Valentine's Pop Up Market!

It was a day full of meeting new people from the neighborhood, shopping from some amazing local creatives, and mini romantically-themed workshops!

Coco Andre hosted a yummy Chocolate + Champagne tasting class and we taught a fun group of ladies (and one manly man!) how to make flower crowns and boutonnieres for their Valentine's dates!

Our favorite calligrapher, Ellie & Ace, even put together a cute Valentine making station with her designs!

it was a fun day full of hearts and balloons and we can't wait to team up with more local friends to make pop up markets a regular thang!

Thanks to our friend, Gabe, of Biel Events, for snapping some photos!
