I know, I know…where the hell have we been? Life’s gotten a little busy and wedding season is ramping up (🎉) so we’ve been a little swamped. We have been active on our Instagram though! To tide you over, today we’re doing a round up of some of our favorite insta posts during our little ~break~.
Engagement rings are a gorgeous, personal and a lifelong accessory choice. Your ring is a beautiful opportunity to display your style as well as your commitment, but the choice can be a little daunting. Rarely do we run across a ring that wouldn’t fit a million different types of bride. Sparkle looks great on everyone! To inspire, we’ve put together some of our favorite engagement rings and wedding band sets. They have different settings, colors and carat size, but they're all beyond swoon-worthy. Think of this as just a taste of our dream Celebrate Dallas “Bling” board. These beauties are nothing short of pinnable.

I think it is safe to assume that one of the best aspects of planning a wedding is tasting cakes. To be honest, I would get engaged right now just to schedule a few tastings! I remember in the 1980's when my mom and dad got married, the options were fairly limited. Three tier chocolate or vanilla cake with white frosting was the name of the game. Now in terms of flavor and design, brides and grooms are only limited by their creativity (and budget). Many of these cakes are truly works of art.

What I love about these cakes is that they are artistic and intricate, but also very simple and sleek. Another very sleek design is the drip cake. Most often the drip cake is a naked cake with exposed layers and minimal amounts of frosting, and a chocolate ganache or caramel topping that is allowed to drip down the sides. I mean, how incredible does this drip cake look by Whisk Until Sweet?!

Today we're so excited to share that our work is being featured on Grey Likes Weddings!
This editorial was planned and directed by the amazing team at The White Sparrow Barn and we are so thankful to have been chosen to design their floral elements. The design is so romantic with a heavy dose of drama. We love the soft white and blush contrasted with a pop of matte black. So stunning!
Our photographer, Callie Manion shot everything in film and the images are seriously jaw dropping. We just can't get enough of the magical quality film provides!
