TOP 5 | MIDNIGHT SNACKS

Midnight snacks are snacks, or mini-meals guests are served towards the end of the reception while they're mingling and dancing. Droppin' it low on the dance floor takes a lot of you, especially since dinner was likely served a few hours earlier. Midnight snacks aren't essential, but add an extra little something to wow guests if you have the room in your budget and ensure your guests don't leave hungry.

Your midnight snack can be whatever you want it to be, but it can be an excellent opportunity to infuse more of your personality into the day. Do you and your boo love street tacos? Get them delivered! Was your first date at an ice cream shop? Look into a custom cone cart! The treat world is your oyster!!

Today we've rounded up five of our favorite midnight snacks for your consideration. Dig in (literally and figuratively)!

TOP 5 | FOOD STATIONS

Food stations get your wedding guests out of their seats, mixing and mingling while they eat. Whether it be before, during, or towards the end of the reception, functional and flexible food stations are a twist on traditional plated dinners or passed appetizers. A few of these stations may require extra staff help (see: Taco Bar), but for the most part, these stations can be set up and enjoyed without very much tending to.

If you’re looking for new ideas for your cocktail hour or ditching a seated dinner for something a little lighter (and more cost-effective), we’ve compiled a list of our Top 5 Favorite Food Stations!

Perfect for grazing guests during a sophisticated cocktail hour. Be sure to include things like fruit, hummus, and cashew cheese for your non-meat eating guests.

Pizza

A Make-Your-Own Pizza station or Pizza Bar will be a surefire hit! Guests can customize each of their slices or pick from a pre-determined bunch of the couples choosing.

Taco Bar

My personal favorite, Taco Bars, are great for relaxed receptions. They’re quick, easy, and delicious. YES PLEASE!

Fry Bar

Give your guests the gift of choice with a Fry Bar, the more dipping sauces the better. Healthier options like baked sweet potato fries can also be substituted.

These savory or sweet treats will keep your guests busy all night long. A few pretzel bites during cocktail hour, few more while you dance, and a final round as you say our goodbyes. There’s no such thing as too many.

TOP 5 | NON-SPARKLER EXITS

You’ve planned your wedding down to the very last detail. You know precisely where every flower should be placed, what every musical cue means, and who should and shouldn’t be sitting together, but you haven’t quite figured out your exit strategy. Grand Exits (or exit tosses) are an opportunity for your friends and family to celebrate you one last time before you ride off into the sunset and for your photographer to get some crazy beautiful shots.

You’ve seen 100 different sparkler exits (which were all beautiful), but you want something different! Well, we’ve rounded up our TOP 5 favorite non-sparkler wedding exits for you and your boo on the big day!

Paper Airplanes

Keep it cute and whimsical with a paper airplane toss at the end of the night. You can even re-purpose programs or other wedding stationary for it!

Wild Flowers

Wildflowers are a great toss idea for the environmentally friendly/hippie-dippie couples worried about what’s left behind.

Smoke Bombs

This exit idea might be more challenging to pull off at night, but if you used them sporadically and at just the right time, you’ll be OBSESSED with shots your photographer captures.

Fall Leaves

Take your love of Fall to the next level and incorporate pretty fall leaves in your wedding exit. Plus, the leaves will blend in with all the other leaves on the ground, which means little to no clean up required!

Beach Balls

A beach ball exit is an excellent way to keep the party going, especially if you’re getting married at a beach or lake! And if you want to go the extra mile, customize your beach balls and they can double as wedding favors!

TOP 5 | TABLESCAPES MUST-HAVES

1. TABLE GARLANDS
Garlands are such a pleasing visual effect to add to your décor. They're lush, plentiful and can really make long tables POP! Today we explore several ways that you can create a stunning magic carpet of blooms or greenery. You can work with a single color, a mix, or an ombre effect (which we love!), to make the florals at your event a real showstopper!

2. BALLOONS
If there is one easy way to add some whimsy and color to your wedding it would be balloons. Check out below at how beautifully you can create an innate sense of fun on your big day!

3. CANDLES
Candlelight is always the best lighting for your wedding day. That romantic glow is just perfect! By creating different levels of flame on your table décor will show how a little texture and variety can go a long way!

4. GEOMETRIC DECOR
If you are dreaming of a cool and clean lined wedding tablescape, geometric is the way to go! You'll be able to create a unique style that appeals to all of your guests!

5. TABLE LINENS
When deciding on décor for your tablescape, the decision for which linens you go with are just as important as the florals that sit on top on them. Linens elevate the look of an event by adding texture, color and an overall richness to the décor. From a sparkly sequin to a soft and feminine table topper like a lace overlay, we love them all! Choosing a great linen will help make the details of your wedding stand out!

What will your table look like?
